Be at the front of the Olympics

You could run on the Olympic athletics track way in front of the world’s athletes by joining the National Lottery’s Olympic Park Run next spring.

The five mile run (just a tad over 8km, but sounds shorter) is open to all &  will culminate in a dash for the finish line on the very track where the best in
the world will strut their stuff next summer. The event is to celebrate the National Lottery’s £2.2bn support of London 2012.

Five thousand runners will be able to participate in the run on 31st March 2012. Places will be allocated by ballot. Details will be announced by the National Lottery later this month so get out there, get fit, get a place in the race!

  1. The 5 mile run is just a tad over 8km . . . Which is why it sounds shorter! Obviously never run one.
